A quick stop at the local gas station/convenience store found me suddenly face-to-face with a guy about 30 years old and a story about a declined credit card and empty gas tank. I flipped him a ten and he made a big deal about taking down my address so he could send it to me later this week. Before I left the store he had paid the ten bucks on one of the pumps, so I'm pretty sure he really did need some gas.
My head says that I should kiss that $10 goodbye, but for some reason my gut says he will actually pay me back. I'll go with my gut and we'll see what happens.
