I spotted the item below at my mom's house last week and my sister made a copy for me so I could scan it. I think it is about a year and a half old, so my nephew Liam must have been about two and a half when he went through this particular exercise at his day care center:
That "My boat sank" is checked just cracks me up. I'm trying to imagine how that played out with whichever day care worker helped him reach that conclusion. It was almost certainly not a "C'mon kid, you think that piece of crap boat you drew would float?" kind of scenario. I'm sure it was a much gentler process. Actually, I'm kind of surprised that in this day and age they didn't soften things by making that a "My boat is buoyancy challenged" or something. Nope, they just lay it out there to the kid.
In this case, I like that.
