If you're looking for something to laugh about while you are waiting with bated breath for the Pennsylvania results to come in( and really, who isn't?), go check out this post from Sheila O'Malley on what is still regarded, after 25 years, as "The standard of awfulness against which all broadway flops are judged". Oh man, the invective that was hurled at that play is wickedly mean...and I couldn't stop laughing. Follow all of Sheila's links too. There are some world class put downs there that Simon Cowell would bow down to.
It seems that most of those involved in the production have come to terms with it and some even dare to put it in their bios. Well, good for them. Be sure to catch the very last line of the post regarding June Gable and India. That one's going to crack me up for the rest of my life.
Criminy, I think I pulled a stomach muscle.
