An old saying has it that sometimes it's better to be lucky than good, and I've had more than my share of good luck this fantasy football season. This Fantasy Bowl week has been no exception.
I made a very good move in playing Andy Dalton over Matthew Stafford and Jamaal Charles and Brandon Marshall put in very solid performances in support. However, the rest of my team fared less well and the result so far, with Anquan Boldin yet to play Monday night, is a fairly anemic 38 points.
Anemic, but good enough to best my opponent who, lucky for me, is done now with only 35 points. Yep, my third Championship in this league and my sixth overall is in the bag. As is the total points crown and the highest weekly point total(unless Phil Dawson and the 49ers DST can combine for 60 points).
That makes it a pretty damn good year even if my failure to win my division has made it less than a clean sweep.
I'm not certain, but Uncle Si might say that calls for a "Booyah!"
