Did another nice hike today, but it was a much rougher trail than yesterday. Lots of steps up, onto, and over some good-sized rocks and boulders. A good chunk of the last 1/3 mile to the summit looked like this:
Those rocks are the trail, and they went another 50 feet or so beyond what you can see here. Talk about lift your boots and push off. My previously injured thigh held up well though. A few other leg muscles, however, are screaming at me a little tonight. More pics from Carlton Peak tomorrow.
