Provided there's no last minute "I thought you checked his calculations" moment today, asteroid 2012 DA14 will make its closest approach to Earth at 1:25 p.m. today CST. Here's a link to an article with several other links to coverage of the event, from NASA TV at 1:00 p.m. to a couple later in the afternoon and evening.
I think we should all take the afternoon off and go watch it at the bar, but I'm guessing your average employer would disagree. Oh well, sneak a peek anyway.
