Happy Independence Day. It was a balmy 85° F already at 10:00 this morning and this day will be a scorcher here just like a big chunk of the country. My heart goes out to those still without power because of last week's derecho and trying to cope with the heat and humidity.
Sorry for the lack of posts. Some of that has been normal taking care of other business. Some has been doing a lot of reading and thinking instead of writing. And some has been a little post-spring fatigue. I've put a lot of work in the yard with not as much visible progress than I had hoped, and there's still so much to do. It's a little depressing frankly, but I need to power through it.
More to come today as the temp heads to 100° and I give up on trying to do anything more outside.
