The view from my kitchen this morning:
About 6" as of 9:30 and it's still coming down strong. Wet and heavy stuff too. Kind of fun to see so long as it doesn't bring any trees or power lines down.
Update: Whew! The bottom 2" of this stuff is sopping wet. It's a classic heart attack/"I know, Doc...I should have turned the snowblower off first" kind of snow. The neighbor across the street has lost about 1/2 of one of his trees, but luckily it fell clear of anything so no damage. I'm a little worried about that tree above. That line to the far left is my power.
Wow!

Well, I did lose power for a bit but it wasn't because of any tree in my yard. Most of that risk has melted away now. It was a good weekend for hanging out and using the crock pot.

But that Global Warming sure is pretty looking!
My F-I-L got held up by all that stuff, too.

It slowed things down, but it wasn't too bad as first snows go.

He was trying to fly out of the cities; cost him a day.

Sorry to hear that. I had heard about delays but didn't know there were cancellations. I would have thought the airport here could have kept up better given how warm the ground and the air was.
