It was a great game last night between the Phillies and Yankees. I am on the Phillies bandwagon just to see them beat the Yankees, make no mistake. But as a baseball fan, both teams are topnotch and it was great baseball played on both sides. I'm kind of pissed about the state of Major League Baseball, but for now...

Yeah, Game 2, not so much. . .
We'll see what happens tomorrow night, between the weather and the public transit strike threat. There are probably so many parents annoyed to be torn between Halloween and the game! Maybe nobody will be coming around for candy after 8 p.m.

It looks like there's a good chance that the game will be rained out tonight.
I think the Phillies did well to get out of the first two games with a split. Burnett was tough in that second game and the Phillies were a bit late in adjusting to him I think. Burnett also caught some breaks that could easily have gone the other way. That's baseball.
