Keep Moving

It was a brisk -17F here this morning and the old Ranger struggled a bit to get going. I can't say I blame it. Even Sammy, who doesn't seem to mind the cold at all, did her business in record time when I let her out. We have two or three more days of lows overnight in the minus teens and then we should get a bit of a warm up.

It has been a long winter here already and the toughest two months are still to go. We will likely have a few more waves of sub-zero temps come roaring down from Canada as this appears to be one of those years where the dam broke early and there's nothing coming up from the south that is strong enough to stop them. Oh well, that's winter in Minnesota. On the bright side, the days are getting longer and for me a little sun goes a long way in helping to tolerate the cold.

Just gotta keep moving.
